I have made it through the latest round of edits (I won’t ever say it’s the last edit because I will futz with something until the end of time if given the chance) which is great timing since I either sprained or broke my left pinky finger while walking out a door last night.
Those of you who know me are not surprised by this at all. I am one of those people who will be perfectly safe doing the most dangerous thing in the world, but can break toes walking down stairs or severely sprain an ankle in the back yard. Both of which I’ve done.
In any case, latest round of edits is done and I’m drafting an email to my beta readers. Tentative publishing plan at this point is to have pre-orders begin on October 15 and launch the novel on the 22nd, which just so happens to be my birthday.
Yes, I am cheesy enough to have my book birthday and my actual birthday coincide.
